My day with my doctor

Question:  I had a stroke in 2006 and my stroke left me crying all the time.  Whenever I have to speak to anyone I cry, even my son, I cry.  I don’t know why I cry I just cry.  So my delimma is I need a sticker for disabled/handicapped people for my car.  I took the paper I got from the DMV to my doctor and she would sign it because it only had 5 reasons and I didn’t fall the 5 reasons.  I told her that when I need to stop after a few minutes of walking and she said that was okay everybody get a little tired.  I said that I don’t remember things some times and she said that was okay because people don’t always remember things sometime.  I said that I cry when I’m in the car just for no reason.  She said that I should stop the car until I’m finish crying.  I need to go the DMV, Department of Motor Vehicles, and talk to someone about the 5 things that I don’t have and tell them what I have to see if they can change anything.  My doctor says that I’m not being treated for any of the 5 things they mentioned so therefore she can’t sign it.  What can I do to get my sticker from DMV.  There is not many people here in South Carolina that crys all time, if any.

Gym today

I went to the gym and I was trying to ask this lady to fix my machine and I started crying and I kept apologizing to her and she stated that she understood and I said it was because I had a stroke in my brain and she said she never know anyone who had what I have but she worked with people that had different problems.

I apologized anyway and she said anytime I needed her help with anything she would be honored to help me.

I met a lady at Bible Study. Her name was Toby. She came to a Mary Kay party we were having for one of the girls. She was nice and she prayed with me or over me because I told her that I cry.

I usually get home about 9:00 at niht and the outide light is on, but not tonight everything was dark and off, I guess my husbamd was a little upset.

In other words all the improvement they will make will probably be in the six months following the stroke with little to no improvement after that.

Hello, this is the first time I'm writing to you. I am 22 years old and I have a 65 years old grandmother, she is the most important person in my life and love her with all my heart. Unfortunately, she had a massive stroke yesterday morning which had affected two thirds of her brain's left hemisphere. The doctor said we still have to wait to see what's gonna happen with her but I don't know much about the recovery process and want to know if she will get better. I am hopping for the best. She is a strong woman and will fight until the end, even though the doctor said she can't understand what we are saying I know she can, she moves her head when we ask her questions and tears when every time she sees us. Please any information about the recovery process and anything that could help me understand what is going to happen now and what I need to do will be very helpful. God Bless you all!

Right Hemisphere hemorrhagic stroke recovery?

My mother is 55 and suffered a right hemisphere hemorrhagic stroke. She is very sleepy but has days of verbal communication. She is very weak on left side. Can move foot a little bit, responds to pain stimulus in both her leg, foot and arm but can not follow commands with the left side. Her right side is unaffected. I was hoping someone could offer some insight on the recovery ups and downs and process for me and my mom and family. Thanks.
